    Drilling for oil in Alaska?

Ah..but you have a desk job . Some have a better idea how hard it would be to bring this fruit- even if you had the ability. The pipeline is OLD- the thing was only 1/2 inch sheetsteel. Alaska is not a kind place. Still would be hard to pull off soon and either way we are going to have to pay for a new one or figure a way to ship thru the ice.

Re: Drilling for oil in Alaska?

Hi all! Drilling for oil in Alaska is quite difficult for some companies that do it on a regular basis in other states of America and even in other countries. Drilling for oil in Alaska requires great equipment that will hold up in spite of the cold temperatures, I'm talking about ERDE TOOLS type equipment. The way I see it, it's a pretty time consuming and expensive process because you never know how the weather will change and what might happen to oil drilling. So be very careful in this endeavor!
